**HOW TO RUN Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (COD MW 2022)**


search `*.bat` in top right in the game folder and open !start_sp22.bat file .


If still the game does not open do windows key + R , type winver and check your windows build version . This game causes some problems running on windows 11 25H2 build.

Also if you getting discord sdk dll missing error then your antivirus has Quarantined that dll file

Game failed to launch

error when run !start_sp22 : check your sp22\bootstrapper.log

i know theres (probably) no point of doing it but is there a way to change the profile picture in steam settings

Steps to change the language:

Open "supported_languages.txt" to look for the language that you want to change.

The supported languages are: english, french, italian, german, spanish, arabic, japanese, koreana, polish, brazilian, russian, schinese, latam, tchinese.

Then open "configs.user", find the line that says "language=english" and change the language that you need. For example "language=spanish" "language=russian" Save and exit.

You will find two "configs.user" change for the two. Why is there 2? One is for the game that launch with "!start_cod22" another for "!start_sp22". If you change in the "configs.user" for "!start_cod22" but you launch the with "!start_sp22", the result is that the game is launch default in english. So I recomend you change the two "configs.user", and launch the game with one of the two .bat ("!start_cod22" & "!start_sp22"). I use the "!start_cod22" but both is running perfectly.


Addtional information:

The games needs in total 185GB, the .zip needs 89GB.

Very important to exclude the game file in Windows Defender o restore the blocked files.

my game progress is not saved, i completed 4 missions and when i came back and opened game again the progress is gone
