Solely based on singeplayer, Modern Warfare 3's campaign has an inferior story compared to its predecessor. However its gameplay is as strong as ever and offers a great amount of content that is both fun and replayable. Although the story failed to hook me, spec ops managed to grab and keep my attention. In its heyday, multiplayer was also one of the best the series has ever seen but as of now it poses a security threat to your pc and even if it didn't, hackers were running rampant anyways.
