This is the reason we have a million new card based roguelikes in the market. To be fair, it is a very good reason. If you played any of those games (monster train, Inscryption, CZN, etc) it will feel very basic, kinda like playing the original RE4 after playing the games that came after it. It is a very good game, very well balanced and with very short and fast paced runs. If you like those deck building roguelikes, give it a try,

This is the best berserk simulator. I'm serious. The other combat styles are very fun as well. It's one of the best roguelikes around. The combat is very visceral and once you get the hang of it it gives you rush to destroy every level very fast. I like the artstyle very much, but i would understand if somebody found it offputting. at least try it. as always, buy it if you enjoy it. It's very cheap and the developer is always updating.

It was my game of the year in 2024. Very fluid combat, challenging but not overtly hard. It's a very intriguing plot about family, religion and class, with some great music and art to match. Was the metroidvania i needed while silksong was still just a legend. And to be fair, i think it is as good as Cherry's game. Highly recommend.

Great little RPG with tons of replayability. Haven't replayed it with the new update yet, but highly recommend for people fan of RPGMaker kind of game. It does get rather easy by the end, but the atmosphere, creature design and the characters you meet along the way, are the best part of it anyway. It's Fear and Hunger light, in some aspects. Highly recommend playing and supporting the dev, it's a very cheap game, especially for what it delivers.

I believe this the best Anno. It has so much depth. It will take you a very long time to see everything and with the DLCs... oh boy. It does get a little overwhelming managing everything, but if you are a fan of the genre, this is a must play
