If you have any of the following attributes, you MUST play the game: - Person who wants freedom, - Has available gaming time of 22 minutes or more - Likes exploring, - Wants to do things their way / think their way. Genuinely, when you reach the end of the game, you will completely miss the first time you touched this game. I recommend playing this game blind, with no external help whatsoever (unless you're hardstuck). Oh and, if you liked this game, you might want to check out Subnautica.
A Short Hike is a game that takes only 1-2 hours to finish, 3 if you want to do everything that is possible to do in game. It's a great game that basically combines the visual element of playing Animals Crossing, but in a pixelated way. The ending is quite sad... it isn't and fulfills you with joy & happiness. Overall, the game is quite relaxing, giving you all the time in the world to finish whenever you want. For a ~200MB game, if you want to relax a bit and explore the open-world in it, this is your game.
Giving this a 5-star just because it could not have possibly replicated the experience that the original subnautica gave. Anyone who played original subnautica, will still, have fun playing this one as well.
A masterpiece, wish it's successor (S:BZ) was as good as this one is, but a masterpiece can only have a cheap copy. If you liked this game, you might want to check out another one called: Outer Wilds.
