Finally got around to playing these classics for the first time and I completely understand the hype — TR1's atmosphere of lonely, ancient isolation is unlike anything in modern gaming, and TR2's globe-trotting variety kept me hooked right through to the end. The remaster itself is done with obvious care: the graphics toggle between old and new is seamless, and it runs great without needing any mods or config tweaks to get going.
