As withering tendrils spread and coalesce, it awakens. You are a lighthouse. Not a lighthouse keeper, not someone who lives in a lighthouse. A lighthouse that comes to life, grows legs and goes on walkabout with your bird buddy. Wander a world that has seen better days, discover new and interesting people, push through various life-changing events, and shine your light on the darkness that threatens to cover the world.

Keeper is a very cinematic game, full of color and life and danger and terror. In the midst of this, you (a somehow animated lighthouse) are walking around, shining your light on things. Some creatures enjoy the light, some hide from it, some plants flourish once illuminated, some ancient artifacts respond to the light. You're picking your way through ruins that gain perspective when you the player realize just how tall a lighthouse is, and you figure out you're stepping around and sometimes through what once were houses. It may have been a humanoid-occupied world before, but it has an entirely different kind of life in it now.
