Lords of Shadow 2 is a massive improvement over the first game in almost every regard. The combat feels better, the environments are more interesting, and the game generally does a much better job of keeping things varied. I also really appreciate how completely insane the story and set pieces can get. It constantly throws increasingly ridiculous situations at you, and while it can be a bit much, I found that side of the game genuinely entertaining.
