Resident Evil 4 Remake is a masterclass in how to revive a classic for a new generation. For me this is a genre defining experience, setting new standards for third person shooters and survival horror games. In this remake they managed to recapture the intensity and atmosphere of the original but also elevate it with modern graphics, refined mechanics, and a deeper narrative.
