Destroy All Humans! is a gleaming, high-definition remake of the 2005 cult classic that lets you live out your wildest Mars Attacks fantasies. You play as Crypto-137, an irritable alien clone with a voice like Jack Nicholson and a massive chip on his shoulder, sent to Earth to harvest human DNA, topple the government, and figure out why these hairless apes are so obsessed with television.

The gameplay is a sandbox of pure, unadulterated slapstick violence. You have a psychic toolkit that lets you pick up tanks—or confused farmers—and hurl them into the stratosphere. Then there’s the Zap-O-Matic, which chains electricity through crowds like a deadly disco ball, and the infamous Anal Probe which... well, it does exactly what it says on the tin. I found the flying saucer segments to be a literal blast; there is something deeply therapeutic about leveling an entire military base with a localized "Death Ray" while hovering over a meticulously recreated 1950s suburb.
