Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.
Cuphead is a great boss rush game where you can challenge yourself with some fun bosses, most of whom aren't overly difficult and can be cleared in what feels like a very doable amount of time, while still remaining fun and challenging. Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!. The game has a few bosses that stand out and are a little harder than the rest, but I found the extra difficulty enjoyable. I wished more of the bosses presented this level of challenge or that there was an option for a higher difficulty than regular right off the bat. The game largely revolves around the score you get on the bosses and your desire to achieve a good score, as opposed to simply clearing the boss.Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown
