Shawn does not speak much about his personal life. However, he has said that he has lived in Louisiana since he was a child. In an interview, Shawn stated that he was inspired to begin programming games after being drawn to computers at a young age. He was also inspired by games such as Street Fighter II, Final Fantasy, and Resident Evil. He has also mentioned that he gets easily frightened by horror movies featuring dolls and would rather watch comedies.
